Sexual harassment is all too often trivialized and laughed about in the interests of 'being a good sport', and it can be near impossible to address such matters when the perpetrator is in a position of power. The fact is, such behaviour makes a person feel demeaned and gross. Frankly, it ain't on.

So unsurprisingly, I am well pleased about the current lawsuit @ DJs. Employers have a duty of care towards their staff, which clearly was not happening. This woman has come forward at enormous personal sacrifice, and has had to leave a job she loved and by all accounts was pretty good at. I really hope that any prospective employers can look past this in the future.
